Ortus recruitment are currently recruiting for a qualified individual for a Teaching Assistant in the Thornton Heath area to start immediately. The individual needs to be experienced working 1:1 and being in small groups with children inside and outside the classroom.

Job Description

· Teaching Assistant

· Mainstream Primary school

· SEN Support

· Immediate start -Long term & Full time

· £75 – £90 per day

· Borough of Croydon

A successful candidate will be academically capable and has worked in a school previously. They should have the relevant experience working with children and SEN pupils.

The school is in the vibrant area in Croydon with a good community, plenty of shops and transport for an easy commute. The school aims to provide good support and learning for all the children that attend to move on to further education.

We are looking for:

· Someone with previous experience working with Special needs and ideally Autism

· An enthusiastic individual who is passionate to working in the education sector

· The ability to work well under pressure and a can-do attitude

· The ability to communicate well with children and staff members
