Graduate Teaching Assistant Role:

A friendly primary school located in Hounslow are seeking an inspiring teaching assistant to join their team assisting the teachers and students within the classroom. The ideal Graduate will be a proactive, clear communicator, who is committed and passionate about supporting primary aged children.

Requirements for this Teaching Assistant role:

• Graduate with a strong academic background.
• Clear communicator.
• Experience around children.
• Knowledge and/or Experience with SEN.
• Proactive, reliable, flexible and friendly.

Specifics of Teaching Assistant Role:

• 8am – 4pm
• Monday – Friday
• Term Time Only
• £75 – £90 Per DAY (PAYE! No hidden umbrella company costs)
• Hounslow LEA, West London
• Mainstream Primary School
• General TA, Intervention, Small group and 1:1 Support
• EYFS – Y6

The teaching assistant role includes supporting the class teacher and students during lessons, 1:1 session, intervention groups and working with other departments. The lessons will have delivered to all year groups EYFS, Key Stage 2 and Key stage 1.

Teaching Assistant Objectives

As a teaching assistant, you will be exposed to students of various abilities, you will need consider factors and build up your ability using skills, lesson plans, numeracy, and literacy tasks to raise attainment. As a Graduate teaching assistant, you’ll learn and implement strategies to support students engage with the curriculum, giving you invaluable skills for a future in the education sector.
