Ortus Recruitment are working with a mainstream primary school in Berrylands, and they are seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to commit to a full time – long term role. The role :

• Position : Teaching Assistant
• Location : Berrylands
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• £80-£90, per day
• 8:30am-4:00 pm (hour lunch break)

Within this role you will be helping the class teacher plan, prepare and deliver the lesson, whilst helping manage the class behaviour. You will also be providing emotional support throughout the day ensuring that the children’s physical, emotional and social needs are being met. Another responsibility will be to record the children’s progress and highlight the areas they need to improve on.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and a good understanding of the primary curriculum. You will also need a fully enhanced DBS or willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment (£52).
