Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Croydon is looking to appoint a committed and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young learners and wants to make a real impact in the classroom.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Work closely with individual pupils or small groups, including those with additional needs
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Contribute to classroom organisation and lesson preparation
• Track and support pupil progress, feeding back to teaching staff

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has prior experience working in a primary school or educational setting (desirable)
• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Is adaptable, reliable, and keen to support the wider school community
• Holds a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred, not essential)
