Are you a Passionate Teaching Assistant looking for a new full-time position?

We are looking for a full-time teaching assistant for our lovely client based primary school located in Croydon. Here you will be assisting the class teacher plan and execute exciting lessons as well as helping identified student(s) to learn as effectively as possible, both independently and in group situations.

The role:

As a Teaching Assistant you will be apart of the school’s friendly team. You will be working alongside the class teacher, keeping track of pupil’s progression, reporting back, and communicating with the teacher. You will work with small groups of children and 1:1 where necessary, encouraging independent learning as well as organising creative and educational activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

· Previous experience working within a classroom setting or with children of the primary age range.

· Demonstrate what additional and different learning techniques you have to help close the gap between lower and higher-level ability pupils.

· A positive and caring approach with previous experience of supporting children.

· Be willing to commit to a 5 day a week role.

· An approachable and energetic, with positive behaviour management skills.

· Adaptability and flexibility in working practices and the ability to know when to use initiative.

· Be a clear written and spoken communicator.

· Have strong relationship building skills.
