Teaching Assistant | Croydon | Mainstream Primary School | £450 – £500 p/w PAYE

Here at Ortus Recruitment we are seeking an experienced and passionate teaching assistant who is looking to make a positive impact in the lives of pupils. We need someone who is committed to supporting children and is available immediately, on a full time, long term basis.

Must have:

· A clear enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment – £52

· A minimum of two obtainable childcare relevant references, ideally school based but not essential

· A minimum Grade C in GCSE English and Math

As a Teaching Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils educational and emotional development.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Providing support to the class teacher working as a general teaching assistant

· Assisting with the planning and preparation of lessons and classroom resources

· Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

· Following and implementing behaviour strategies to encourage a positive attitude to learning

Requirements:

· Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in school setting

· A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational needs

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive rapports with both staff and students

· Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask

· A commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
