Ortus Recruitment are working with a mainstream primary school within Isleworth and they are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to commit to a full time-long term role. The ideal candidate should have experience working within a primary school setting and have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum. This is a full time-long term role, from Monday-Friday, therefore if you apply for this role you will need to have this availability.

Responsibilities:

• Helping the class teacher manage the class behaviour
• Following health and safety guidelines ensuring the children are safe at all times.
• Making sure the children’s emotional, social and physical needs are being met.
• Supporting the class teacher plan, prepare and deliver lessons
• Keeping record or the children’s progress

The ideal candidate should have :

• A fully enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment (£52)
• Good understanding of the primary curriculum
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
• Have a passion for caring for children
