Ortus Recruitment are currently searching for a Teaching Assistant for a 3 form mainstream primary school located in Barnet, North-West London. You will be working alongside a welcoming and experienced class teacher, helping to deliver fun and engaging lessons to pupils of mixed abilities and backgrounds.

Your role will involve aiding the teacher in the planning, preparation and delivery of lessons, including outdoor and extracurricular activities, marking homework, and leading small group and one-to-one sessions when required.

Ideally, you will have had some experience in a Primary School, however if you are a graduate of a core subject and have aspirations of expanding on your experiences in teaching feel free to apply.

Applicants must:

• Be able to provide 2 references
• Have an enhanced DBS on the update service OR be willing to apply for one
• Provide proof of right to work in the UK
• Be available to work full time, on a long term basis
• Have at least 3 months of experience (Desirable)
• Must hold a teaching qualification at Level 3 / equivalent
• Be adaptable and have a positive attitude
