An ‘Outstanding’ Primary school in the Kingston are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team with an immediate start. The role is supporting across Key Stage 1 and 2, the Headteacher would ideally like a graduate or experienced TA who has the ambition of becoming a teacher.

Do you have a degree and previous experience working with children?

Are you keen to gain experience in a mainstream primary school working as a General Teaching Assistant?

Perhaps you have a long-term ambition of becoming a fully qualified teacher and would like some additional experience in a primary school setting before starting your training?

The Teaching Assistant role available in this two-form entry primary school requires someone who is friendly, supportive, and nurturing. You will need to be dynamic and committed as working as a full-time TA in a mainstream setting means activities and plans can often change quickly at short notice.

You will partake in a range of activities and will work closely with the class teacher to work in groups or on a 1:1 basis with the children.
