The role:

• Position: Teaching Assistant
• Location: Kingston
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• Monday-Friday
• Immediate start

Within this role you will be working alongside the class teacher helping them plan, prepare and deliver the lessons ensuring the students are engaged and focused at all times. You will also be getting the classroom ready for lesson and tidying equipment away after it has finished to ensure a safe and clean environment.

The ideal candidate should have:

• A fully enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment (£52)
• More than a years’ experience working with children in a professional setting
• A caring approach towards children
• Ability to deal with challenging behaviour in a calm manner
