The role:

• Position: Teaching Assistant
• Location: Merton
• Full time – long term
• PAYE £80-£90
• Immediate start

Responsibilities:

• Help the class teacher prepare, plan and deliver lessons
• Support the class teacher in managing the class behaviour
• Tidy away equipment and display boards to ensure a safe environment
• Watch, report and record children’s progress they are making

Requirements:

• A fully enhanced DBS or willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment (£52)
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
• Ability to work part as a team and independently
• Enthusiasm for working with children
• Prior experience working with children (desirable)
