We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant to work in a great Primary School in Merton. The successful candidate will work with a team of teachers and support staff to provide a high-quality education for our primary school students.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in planning, preparing and delivering lessons
• Assisting individual students or small groups with their learning
• Helping to create a positive and productive learning environment
• Assisting with classroom management and discipline
• Preparing and organizing learning materials
• Providing feedback to the class teacher on student progress
• Supporting students with special needs or disabilities

Qualifications and Skills:

• Level 2 or higher qualification in a related field such as teaching assistant or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience working with primary school-aged children
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
• Positive and proactive attitude
