Key Responsibilities:

1. Classroom Support:
   • Assist the classroom teacher in preparing lesson materials and resources.
   • Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
   • Monitor and support students during classroom activities and lessons.
   • Assist in the management of classroom behavior, promoting a positive learning environment.
2. Student Assistance:
   • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
   • Help students with daily tasks, including reading, writing, and math activities.
   • Encourage and support social and emotional development.
3. Administrative Duties:
   • Help with maintaining student records and progress reports.
   • Assist in organizing classroom materials and maintaining a tidy learning environment.
   • Perform clerical tasks such as photocopying, filing, and preparing teaching aids.
4. Supervisory Duties:
   • Supervise students during recess, lunch, and other school activities.
   • Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
   • Accompany and assist with school trips and extracurricular activities.
5. Communication and Collaboration:
   • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
   • Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
   • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
6. Additional Responsibilities:
   • Attend school events and activities as required.
   • Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or school administration.
