Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Primary School)
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary: £89-£100 a day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only (Monday to Friday)
Start Date: September 2025

About the Role:
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sheffield is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development, and well-being across a range of year groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Provide one-to-one and small group support, including for pupils with additional learning needs
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
• Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom displays
• Support children’s social and emotional development
• Supervise pupils during break and lunchtimes as required

• Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting
• Is caring, patient and committed to helping children thrive
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Is proactive, flexible, and organised
• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or is working towards one)
