Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time
Salary: £89– £100 a day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children’s learning and development in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher
• Work with individuals or small groups of pupils, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
• Assist with classroom organisation and behaviour management
• Prepare learning materials and support pupil progress
• Help create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children (school experience preferred)
• A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or willingness to train)
