Salary: £89 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner)
Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join one of our vibrant partner schools in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and making a difference in young people’s lives. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning and development across various age groups and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Assist pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, including those with SEN
- Foster a safe and positive learning environment
- Help with classroom organisation, displays, and resources
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers
- Supervise children during break and lunch times as required
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, caring, and flexible approach
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Right to work in the UK
