Learning Mentor | Behaviour specialism | Mainstream Primary School | Richmond

Ortus Recruitment are currently working closely with a Mainstream Primary School in the Richmond, who are seeking an experienced Learning Mentor to join them on a part-time basis with an immediate start. Our partner School requires support with behaviour for a pupil in their Year 6 class.

The role:

You will be providing 1:1 specialist support to a pupil in Year 6 who need help overcoming barriers to learning, where behaviour and attendance issues are a cause for concern. You will be reporting the schools SENCO/ Inclusion Lead providing detailed daily feedback and learning progress reports.

Requirements

• Degree Educated.
• Available to commit to a full-time, long-term position.
• Experience inspiring and motivating pupils who display challenging behaviour.
• Experience with Primary aged children.
• Clear spoken and written communicator.
• Proactive, reliable and flexible.
