Ortus Recruitment is recruiting passionate individuals looking to work in the education sector. This full-time, long-term position is within a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) school in the Croydon area. The school is rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted and has received excellent reviews from previous candidates, with staff regarded as friendly and welcoming.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping children who are unable to attend mainstream education due to challenging behaviour. You will need patience and a friendly nature. The children you’ll be working with have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Requirements:

• Sports background preferred
• Passion for working with young people
• Patient and friendly approach
• No formal teaching qualifications required
