Position: Teaching Assistant
Type: Full-Time – 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP Start or September 2024
Location: Muswell Hill – Haringey, London

Ortus Recruitment is looking for an unqualified Teaching Assistant to work one-on-one with a Year 1 child who has developmental delays and ADHD. The primary focus will be on providing targeted interventions tailored to the child’s needs.

The position is based in Muswell Hill, Haringey, a prestigious area known for its charming ambiance. The school is conveniently located near Muswell Hill Park and Alexandra Park. Additionally, the vicinity boasts numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops for you to explore during your breaks or after work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to a Year 1 child with developmental delays and ADHD.
• Implement targeted interventions to support the child’s learning and development.
• Assist with classroom activities and help create an inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to meet the child’s needs.

Requirements:

• A passion for working with children and a commitment to supporting their development.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the child.
• Previous experience working with children.
• Working with children who have SEN.
