The Job Role:

• Position: Unqualified Learning Support Assistant
• Pay: £80 – £90 per day, PAYE – No hidden Agency/Umbrella Company fees
• Location: Blackheath
• Role: Full time, Long term (Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:00)

• Will have a clear Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment – £52

Main responsibilities:

• You will be required to assist the class teacher in supporting pupils within a Year 5  class, whether it’s 1:1, small group or as a general TA
• You will be required to help pupils develop academically, emotionally and socially
• You will be responsible for assisting the class teacher in preparing classwork by photocopying/laminating worksheets, marking classwork/homework, signing reading diaries and helping to update display boards in the classroom and playground
• You will need to liaise with the Class Teacher and the Parents/Carers to provide feedback on pupils progress, both academically and behaviourally
• You will need to supervise the pupils in the playground and lunchroom, helping to maintain calm behaviour
