This is an incredible opportunity to play a vital role in supporting children with SEN as they navigate their educational journey.

Position: Unqualified SEN Assistant
Location: Wandsworth Borough, London
Immediate Start: This role is for an immediate start, and candidates must be available to begin without a notice period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide invaluable support to children with special educational needs, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and reaching their full potential.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored strategies and interventions to meet the diverse needs of each student.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported.
• Assist with personal care and mobility requirements as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students at all times.

Requirements:

• Passion for working with children with special educational needs and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in their lives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the school environment.
• Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential – full training and support will be provided.
