SEN Teaching Assistant | September 2024 | Haringey

Location: Haringey, Bounds Green

Pay: £425-£500per week (PAYE)

Role: Full-time, Long-Term for September 2024

Ortus Recruitment is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to work one-on-one with a Year 1 student at a lovely mainstream primary school in Haringey, Bounds Green. This one-form entry school boasts a very supportive staff, always ready to assist and provide tips and advice.

Located in a prestigious area of North London, the school is just a stone’s throw away from Muswell Hill Park and Alexandra Park, which offer stunning views of London. The area features many shops and cafes, along with excellent transportation links.

Essential skills that are required to have:

• A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
• Experience working with children with Autism/ADHD/non-verbal
• Experience using Makaton, SALT or ABA (desirable)
• Have a natural enthusiasm for working with young children
• The ability to monitor and record a child’s progress
• An understanding of safeguarding children
• MUST BE PASSIOANTE
