As an unqualified teaching assistant in KS1, you will play a crucial role in assisting young learners achieve their potential and develop essential skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with class teachers to assist with the planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons
• Provide one to one or small group support to students who may require additional help with their learning, ensuring that they are engaged, motivated, and making progress
• Assist the class teacher in supporting the maintenance of a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Support the class teacher in preparing educational materials, resources and updating display boards

Must have:

• A clear enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment – £52
• Obtainable relevant references
• A Minimum grade C in GCSE English and Math

Requirements:

• Have a passion for working with children
• Prior experience working with children in a care, residential, school or social setting
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• An understanding of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to the welfare and safety of children
