A lovely Ofsted rated “Good” school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their outstanding year 1 team, working as an interventions Teaching Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or recent graduate who is considering a career in education.

The successful candidate / Teaching Assistant will:

• Support children with their learning and development during lessons or activities as directed by the class teacher.
• Assess and record children’s attainment and progress.
• Lead small group sessions and interventions according to teacher’s planning.
• Promote the general progress and well-being of pupils in your class/group.
• Supervise pupils during playtimes.
• Participate in Performance Management activities and also further training and professional development sessions as they arise.
• Demonstrate a good standard of written and spoken English and a good subject knowledge of Mathematics
