This Ofsted graded “outstanding” school is looking for an individual to join one of their Year 2 classes as a Teaching Assistant responsible for supporting the pupils in it throughout the year. The successful candidate will be responsible for all the students in the class alongside the class teacher. This will include organising and executing fun interactive lessons for the pupils, assisting them during the school day whether that is for educational purposes or other.

During the year, there are lots of extra-curricular activities and clubs provided by the school. Staff have the opportunity to help out with these if they are interested. Year 2 will also have the Nativity play that you will need to assist in organising.

Role requirements:

• Available to work full time
• Can provide two references
• DBS on the update service
• Good knowledge of KS1 curriculum
• Strong work ethic

Previous experience working with children in a work setting is desirable. However, if you have relevant qualifications and previous work experience you may also be considered.
