Year 3 Teaching Assistant | Balham | £85 – £100 PAYE | Full Time | Immediate Start

Ortus Recruitment currently seek an experienced teaching assistant to support a Year 3 class in our partnered primary school situated in Balham. Our Partnered school has been rated ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted and has excellent transportation links. The role will involve you supporting behaviour management in the classroom as well as supporting pupil with behavioural issues on a one-to-one basis when necessary. The school has a very friendly senior leadership team that will make you feel welcome from day one and they also have parking on the school site.

This role will be a full-time role and the school seeks a candidate, who will be available from Monday to Friday from 08.30am – 4pm. If you are looking for an exciting new opportunity working within a mainstream primary school, this could be the perfect role for a recent graduate, childcare professional or Teaching Assistants that are looking for a full-time position.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a core subject (Maths, English, Science, Psychology, Drama)
• Experience working with children in a professional environment.
• Experience working with SEN (desirable not essential)
• Able to develop positive relationships.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills.
• Able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour.
