Ortus Recruitment are currently working with a Primary School in Croydon who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a year 3 class which has several pupils with SEND.

The SLT are looking for someone who has classroom-based experience with SEND knowledge (ASC and ADHD preferably). This school offers a fantastic support system and has excellent equipment to help facilitate pupils learning, this role would be great for someone seeking a new long-term, full-time role within the new academic year.

For this Year 3 Teaching Assistant role you will:

– Help the Teacher plan, prepare and deliver lessons

– Support any identified pupils closely with their work

– Take small groups for additional lesson focused support

– Carry out admin tasks such as marking, register etc

– Help during break and lunch time

The SLT are looking for someone who:

– Is eager and willing to commit to a long-term, full-time role

– Has classroom based experience

– Has SEND knowledge

– Bubbly, enthusiastic personality

– Confident working on a 1:1 and small group basis

– Clear written and spoken communicator
