Ortus Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the classroom and help children achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to children, including those with SEN.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Support children’s emotional, social, and academic development.
• Adapt learning resources and activities to meet individual needs.
• Promote an inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued.

About You:

• Experience working with children, particularly in an educational or SEN setting.
• A patient, nurturing, and positive approach to supporting learning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum is desirable.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) are advantageous.
