Our client school in the London Borough of Brent is currently looking for an Unqualified Learning Support Assistant who can be proactive, take initiative and communicate effectively. You will be responsible for supporting on a 1:1 basis or in small groups with pupils that have Special Educational Needs.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for promoting inclusivity, creating a safe and stimulating environment and helping to raise attainment. In order to support the social, emotional and academic development of SEN pupils, you will need to develop tailored and creative lesson plans, employ different educational techniques such as sensory play, encourage pupils to improve social competencies and effectively collaborate with other educators.
You will be expected to work closely with the classroom teacher and SENCo, as well as external practitioners when required. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who is looking for a challenging but highly rewarding role, with the potential for career progression and to be placed on a teacher training programme.

- Mon-Fri, 8:15am – 3:45pm
- No weekends
- Term time
- Full time & Long-term
- £400-£500 per week (PAYE)
- Potential to be placed on teacher training programme
