Ortus Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and committed Primary KS1 Teaching Assistant. We are in search of an individual who possesses a genuine passion for working with children and a deep affection for the art of teaching. A school in the London Borough of Haringey, our client, is actively seeking a proactive and enthusiastic candidate to join their team.

Expectations:

• Exceptional communication abilities
• Competence in guiding interventions, such as in numeracy, literacy, and reading
• Preparing student for their SAT’s
• Possesses a proactive “can-do” mindset
• Demonstrates initiative and proactive behaviour
• Encourages the advancement of positive social, emotional, and personal development
• 3-6 months of experience in a classroom environment
• Familiarity with the primary school curriculum

Requirements:

• Required to provide an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Have a level 3 qualification or above
• Have a positive attitude
• Must be able to work Full time
