Ortus Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brixton, and we are currently seeking a committed 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated team in September. In this rewarding role, you’ll support pupils both individually and in small groups, helping them engage with the curriculum and build their confidence in the classroom. You’ll work alongside teachers and fellow support staff to create an encouraging learning environment where every child can succeed.

What we’re looking for:

• A degree or relevant qualification in Education, Psychology, English, Maths, Sciences, Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject
• Previous experience working with children or young people – this could be through tutoring, youth work, mentoring, voluntary work, or childcare
• A proactive, positive, and adaptable mindset, with a genuine passion for supporting young learners
