A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Croydon is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and become a valued member of a supportive school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences
• Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups
• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Help prepare classroom materials and resources
• Support pupils with special educational needs and/or English as an additional language (EAL)
• Encourage and model positive attitudes, behaviour, and social interaction

Requirements

• Experience working with primary-aged children (in school or a similar setting)
• Good standard of literacy and numeracy (GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent)
• Strong communication skills and a caring, flexible approach
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
• A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential
• A genuine passion for education and helping children thrive
