Teaching Assistant – Cheam

Ortus Recruitment are looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant to a school in Cheam to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in year 5.

The school are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and understanding individual to join their team, you will mainly be supporting a child with ASC (Autism). Your role will include supporting the child with their classwork, taking them out to engage in separate activities outside the classroom, and report the students progress back to the class teacher and SENDco.

The ideal candidate:

· Experience working with children of the primary age range.

· Experience working within a classroom setting.

· Passionate and caring.

· Confident working 1:1 or in a group basis.

· Strong academic background.

You must:

· Hold right to work in the UK.

· Hold a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to process a new application.

· Provide recent and relevant references.
