Ortus Recruitment are currently working with a mainstream primary school in Brixton, who are seeking for experienced behaviour mentor to join immediately after half-term break. The primary school has a ‘Good’ Ofsted report; now they are seeking for a behaviour mentor to support a student with SEN long-term on a one-to-one basis.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work | Mentoring | Tutoring | Childcare | Voluntarily
• Have a Degree in English, Maths, Psychology, Science, Education, Drama and Performing Arts (Ideal, but we welcome applicants with degrees beyond this or relevant qualifications for working with children)
• Be friendly, confident, outgoing, reliable and be a positive role model
• Have a genuine interest and passion for supporting pupil with SEN
• Be available full-time (Monday-Friday 8.30am-4pm)
• Need to have 2 most recent references (Advantageous if you’ve worked with children previously)
