Behaviour Support Assistant

We are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brent who are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, term-time position ideal for someone looking to make a long-term impact in education.
The Role:
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with individual pupils or small groups to support positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Implement tailored behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to develop and deliver effective interventions
- Create a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children displaying challenging behaviour (in a school, care, or youth work setting)
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a calm, nurturing approach
- The ability to build trust and rapport with children and staff
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- A relevant qualification or training (desirable but not essential)
