Salary: £18,000 – £22,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role:
A friendly and inclusive primary school in Sheffield is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a nurturing and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
• Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, including those with additional needs
• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom displays
• Promote positive behaviour and help manage classroom routines
• Supervise pupils during break and lunchtimes when required

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
• Be caring, reliable, and genuinely passionate about helping children succeed
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Be proactive, adaptable, and able to use initiative
• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or be working towards one)
