Graduate Teaching Assistant

You will be responsible for supporting amongst a Year 6 class as they prepare to take their SATs exams at the end of the year. Having strong literacy and numeracy skills is very important as you will need to lead interventions to raise attainment and reach set targets.
**Individuals who have recently graduated from university with a minimum 2:2 degree in psychology, educational studies or other relevant degree would be ideal**
The ideal candidate must have:
- Minimum 2:2 degree in relevant subject
- A dynamic and motivating approach to teaching
- The ability to work in a team but also take initiative when needed
- Excellent time management and attendance
- A can-do attitude
- An enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
**Candidates must be able to commit to a long-term and full-time role (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm)**
