Level 3 Teaching Assistant | Richmond Upon Thames

Ortus Recruitment are working with a warm and welcoming three-form entry Primary school in the London Bourgh of London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within Key Stage 1.

We are looking for a confident professional with a genuine passion for education and experience working with children aged 5 – 9 and have a good understanding of the curriculum.

It is also essential that all applicants have a Level 3 qualification related to teaching/working with children, or are a graduate of a core/ relevant subject i.e., English, Psychology etc.

The successful Teaching Assistant candidate will have the responsibility of supporting pupils across the class, in small groups and on a one-to-one basis inside and outside of the classroom.

Requirements | Keys Stage 1 Teaching Assistant

• Experience and knowledge of KS1
• Level 3 qualification
• Reliable and can-do attitude
• Confident across the primary curriculum
• Energetic, flexible and proactive
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for a new one)
• 2 references
• The right to work in the UK
