Graduate Teaching Assistant | Key Stage 1 | South Ruislip

The role:

• Assisting the Teacher with planning, preparation and delivery of lessons
• Leading small group sessions to support children with low attainment levels
• Providing individual support to children with literacy, numeracy and reading
• Marking homework
• Supervising lunchtime and outdoor activities

Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Proactive and flexible approach
• A recent Graduate of a core/ relevant subject (desirable)
• Have knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum
• Help teachers plan, prepare and deliver lessons
• Lead small groups / one-to-one interventions with pupils
• Contribute to basic literacy & numeracy support across the school

Candidates must:

• Have a relevant degree with a minimum score of 2:2
• Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
• Show proof of right to work in the UK
• Provide 2 references
