Ortus Recruitment are looking for a Teaching Assistant for a vibrant and welcoming 2 form entry Primary School in The London Borough of Barnet. The school has a great location; near cafes, shops and is local to public transportation. This Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ School offers a range of modern facilities and resources and has a knowledgeable and friendly leadership team to support you in your role.

Your day to day will involve aiding the Teacher in the planning, preparation and delivery of lessons, holding one-to-one sessions and small group interventions when required, marking homework and supporting pupils with low-attainment levels in literacy and numeracy.

The ideal Candidate:

• Will have an flexible and positive attitude
• Will have 3 months classroom experience
• Be passionate about working with children
• Have a degree from a core/ relevant subject i.e.; English/ Psychology (Desirable)
