This role is a full-time position and the school are looking for the perfect candidate to support their school for the rest of the academic year. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates and candidates with childcare experience, who seeks to gain invaluable primary school experience as a Learning Mentor.

The Role:

As a Learning Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in helping students overcome learning obstacles, develop study skills, and achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one or small group mentoring to students facing learning challenges.
• Creating and implementing individualized learning plans to address specific needs.
• Offering academic support, study strategies, and guidance to improve students’ performance.
• Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
• Monitoring and documenting student progress and achievements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience as a Learning Mentor or in a related educational support role is advantageous.
• A genuine passion for helping students succeed academically and grow as individuals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trust with students.
• Knowledge of learning strategies and study techniques.
• Flexibility and adaptability in an educational setting.
