SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support | Primary School | Willesden
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Willesden is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and make a real difference.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
- Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support plans
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Encourage independence, confidence, and social development
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH) is highly desirable
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or care (preferred but not essential)
