SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support | Primary School | Willesden

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Willesden is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and make a real difference.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
  • Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support plans
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and social development

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH) is highly desirable
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or care (preferred but not essential)
