SEN Teaching Assistant – KS2 | 1:1 ASC & Learning Support
West Drayton, UB7 | £90–£100 per day | Full-Time | September 2025 Start

We are recruiting three SEN Teaching Assistants for a supportive mainstream primary school in West Drayton (UB7). These full-time roles are ideal for individuals with experience supporting children with autism, learning difficulties, or SEN needs in a classroom or care setting.

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (KS2 – 1:1 Support)

Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Location: West Drayton, UB7 (Hillingdon)
Pay: £90–£100 per day (PAYE – no umbrella)
Start Date: September 2025

Available Roles

• Year 5 – 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (ASC)

Support a pupil with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) using structured routines and clear strategies. Subject knowledge and patience are key.

• Year 5 – 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Academic Support)

Support a child with profound learning needs. Tasks must be simplified and tailored to their ability level. Adaptability and consistency are essential.

• Year 6 – SEN Teaching Assistant (General & 1:1 ASC)

Split between general class support and 1:1 with a child with autism. You must be flexible and willing to work across different year groups when needed.

Requirements

• SEN experience: school, care, youth work or tutoring
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
• Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD or learning needs
• Calm, reliable and consistent in behaviour support
• Confident adapting tasks and using visual supports
• TA qualification or SEN training is helpful but not essential
