SEN Teaching Assistant – Learning Difficulties Support (Year 4)

Salary: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

An inclusive primary school in Croydon is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 4 pupil with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). The role will involve adapting classroom tasks and providing one-to-one and small group support.

The Role:

• Support a Year 4 pupil with MLD to access learning across the curriculum
• Adapt and scaffold tasks in literacy and numeracy
• Encourage independence and build confidence in learning
• Support social development and participation in group activities
• Collaborate with the SENCO and teacher to implement the pupil’s IEP

About You:

• Experience supporting children with MLD or learning difficulties
• Patient, encouraging, and adaptable in your approach
• Strong communication and organisation skills
• Team player with a passion for supporting SEN pupils
