About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive primary school in Croydon. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning and development in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with SEN or EAL
• Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and learning resources
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including lunchtime and playground supervision when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children (in a school or similar setting) is highly desirable
• A genuine interest in education and supporting young learners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to working with children
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
