Teaching Assistant | Croydon

Key Responsibilities:
- Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with SEN or EAL
- Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and learning resources
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including lunchtime and playground supervision when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children (in a school or similar setting) is highly desirable
- A genuine interest in education and supporting young learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to working with children
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
