We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive team at a thriving primary school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to helping children reach their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and small group support to pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging learning activities
- Support pupils with additional needs, promoting inclusion and independence
- Monitor progress and contribute to record-keeping and assessments
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (voluntary or paid)
- A relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for education
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
