Ortus Recruitment is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Year 2 Teaching Assistant at a primary school in Brentford. This full-time role, starting in September, is focused on providing crucial 1:1 support for a student with special educational needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized 1:1 support to a Year 2 student with SEN
• Assist the class teacher in creating and implementing engaging lesson plans
• Lead small group interventions to bolster literacy and numeracy skills
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and document the student’s progress and development
