Due to increasing pupil numbers and additional support requirements, our partner schools are seeking enthusiastic and committed Classroom Assistants to join their teams on a full-time, long-term basis. These opportunities are ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable experience within education, whether you are an aspiring teacher, recent graduate, or someone with experience supporting children and young people.

As a Classroom Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing classroom support to teachers and pupils
• Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Speech & Language difficulties
• Encouraging positive engagement, behaviour, and participation in lessons
• Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and classroom activities
• Helping to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

We are keen to hear from candidates who:

• Hold GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications)
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Are proactive, patient, and adaptable in a school environment
• Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
• Have experience working with children or young people, either professionally, voluntarily, or through personal experience
• Can commit to a full-time position for the academic year and beyond
