Ortus Recruitment is working in partnership with an ‘OUTSTANDING’ Ofsted rated mainstream primary school based in Stockwell, which currently seeks a compassionate and driven Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term role, offering the perfect opportunity for someone with a nurturing nature and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Learning Difficulties.
About the Role:
You will be providing 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 4 with Autism, while also assisting other pupils with additional needs throughout the school day. The ideal candidate will be someone who truly wants to make a difference—who is patient, proactive, and committed to helping children flourish in both academic and social development.

Requirements:
- Recent Graduate (not essential)
- Experience supporting children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Learning Difficulties, etc.)
- A caring, reliable, and resilient personality
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- The ability to work effectively in a team and take initiative when needed
- A genuine interest in education and supporting children’s learning
- Enthusiasm, patience, and a calm, nurturing approach
- Willingness to learn and take part in training when offered
