A primary school in Isleworth is seeking a Year 1 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them succeed in their learning and social development.

The Role:
As a Year 1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with children who need additional support due to learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, or communication needs. You will assist the class teacher in adapting lessons and providing personalised support to ensure that each child is able to participate fully in classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support for Year 1 students with SEN.
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated lessons.
• Support students in developing communication, social, and emotional skills.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and report feedback to the class teacher and SENCO.

About You:

• Experience working with SEN students, particularly in Key Stage 1.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies and how to adapt lessons to individual needs.
• Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy.
• A positive attitude and a passion for supporting young learners.
